But Where Does the Poopie Go?
If you’re like me, you really like the idea of cloth diapering. They save money, are better for the environment, are softer on your baby’s bottom, they come in cool colors…what’s not to like? But then you start thinking about poopie.
Where will it go?
The same place your poopie goes – down the toilet!
One of the recommended items needed to get started with cloth diapering is a diaper sprayer (kind of like a bidet sprayer) that can be attached to your toilet. This can be used to spray poopie off cloth diapers so it can be flushed. If your shower is located next to your toilet and has a hand shower sprayer, this works too (that’s what we do).
Once you’ve sprayed the poopie off, only residue remains. This is wonderful because these diapers are no longer stinky! Great news!! This will also save you from having to buy a diaper genie or some other kind of contraption to mask the fact that a bunch of poopie is sitting in your baby’s room – sick! So if you’re hesitant to actually start cloth diapering because of poopie, fear not – your baby’s poopie will go right where it belongs, down the toilet!
