Step 3 - Fine tune your fit

The best way to ensure you have the right fit is by observing how your baby is supported in your pouch.

  • Your baby's head is below your bust
  • Shirt pulls down substantially when baby is in pouch
  • Your baby's head is above your breasts and close enough to kiss

  • The Soothe Shirt fits like shape-wear in order to properly support your baby. If you find it difficult to get on or to get your baby into your pouch that doesn’t mean you have the wrong size.  Try stepping into your Soothe Shirt instead of pulling it over your head.
  • Don’t size up to get a bigger pouch
  • Your baby's head should be above your breasts and high enough for you to kiss
  • If your Soothe Shirt is tight immediately after birth, we recommend waiting 3-4 weeks and trying it on again. Your entire body expanded in preparation for delivery and it will start shrinking back substantially even within the first month.
  • If you need help, reach out to our Customer Happiness Team and we will be glad to help you find great fit in your Soothe Shirt.
